I really like the emission and inspection services here. The mechanic and the receptionist are attentive to the needs of their customers, and the prices for the offered services are reasonable, which can be hard to find in the DMV area. Inspection has a quick turnaround time of 25-30 minutes, but they are really thorough with the services. They even helped fix my broken glove board. Also, definitely take advantage of the vacuum service from here.

This is the best auto repair shop I’ve ever dealt with, anywhere. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and, most of all, honest. I will continue going there as long as I live in this area.

I have nothing to say but positive things about those running the operation at this Shell. They're friendly and quick with inspections, oil changes, etc. But what impressed me the most was the honesty and integrity of the employees. My engine light came on and the supervisor (I believe his name was Alex) informed me it could be a repair of $1000+, but then suggested buying a $35 part first to see if it would fix the issue, which it did! They easily could've tried to money grab, but instead truly put the customer first.

Took in my Toyota Tacoma due to a squeaking/chirping sound under my hood from one of the belts for diagnosis. Malcolm did an excellent job showing me the exact issue with my timing belt and taking additional time to walk me through how the issue likely came to be. I had already taken my wife's Subaru to this location for a oil change and brake rotor replacement as we are new to the area after trying out a few different car shops in Vienna/Falls Church and had good experiences with Chahel to date. Malcolm's caring of ensuring I understood the exact cause/issue and giving a very practical way to address it has solidified that I will be using the Chahel James Madison location for all of our family's vehicles moving forward.
