I've been bringing my cars to Tysons Shell for many years for repairs, not only because of its convenient location but because of the competence of its mechanics and their integrity. The shop manager, Mr. Ivan, is an excellent ambassador for the business. He always follows up as he says he will and thoroughly explains what his mechanics have found and the reasons for repairing or not repairing a specific issue. My most recent repair was for a very old Honda Civic with a coolant leak. The water pump and timing belt needed replacement. The estimate for the work was well within the range of what such jobs cost, and the final cost was only slightly higher than the estimate even though some bolts holding the water pump etc had rusted so badly they needed to be drilled out, which added to the time it took for the job to be done. All around, this is my go-to shop. They've earned my trust and renewed it time and again.

Hunters Woods Exxon did an excellent, quick job of replacing my front brakes when they failed a state inspection in late December. I have used them for state inspections for several years, but this is the first time I needed corrective action. In fact, they had the repairs done the same day. I was able to get my tags renewed on time thanks to Chahel.

They provide an excellent and honest appraisal of what repairs are necessary. I am glad they are in the neighborhood!

The mechanics found some serious problems before I was going on a road trip that the dealership I went to a little while ago missed. The work was performed well and I was charged a fair price. The car runs perfect now.

Most importantly, they always talk you through what they need to do and alternatives, including finding cheaper alternatives when needed we’ve also had more than one occasion when we brought a car in to be told nope nothing wrong no charge.

The Vienna, VA location is wonderful. I took my car in and the next day they had installed a new transmission, along with the thermostat, etc. Reasonable price and great customer service.
