This Virginia state inspection station is the most efficient station that I've ever been to for a few reasons: Firstly, the queue system makes a lot of sense. Instead of waiting for an inspector to grab one's car from the lot, customers must wait in a vehicle queue until their turn. Secondly, the inspection process was very stream-lined. As silly as this sounds, I was timing how long it took the inspector to complete others' state inspections so I could determine how long I'd have to wait. The three people waiting in line before me finished in under 15 minutes apiece. At all other stations I would have to wait at least 30 minutes or so until I was told that my inspection was in progress. Needless to say, I was impressed at how quickly the line was moving. Finally, the inspections were performed by one person. It astounded me that one person was able to keep up with such demand as opposed to other shops with multiple workers that unable to perform one inspection in under 30 minutes (from my experience). To top it all off, all of the employees that I came into contact with at the station smiled and greeted me and were very helpful. I will definitely recommend this station to others and will return for my next Virginia state inspection.
