I have used the Tyson Shell team of skilled mechanics for years on both my cars. Some pretty complex diagnosis and they always try to save me money. Still running great. I keep thinking I should get a new car, but then I think - why?

Good performance

I've been bringing my cars to Tysons Shell for many years for repairs, not only because of its convenient location but because of the competence of its mechanics and their integrity. The shop manager, Mr. Ivan, is an excellent ambassador for the business. He always follows up as he says he will and thoroughly explains what his mechanics have found and the reasons for repairing or not repairing a specific issue. My most recent repair was for a very old Honda Civic with a coolant leak. The water pump and timing belt needed replacement. The estimate for the work was well within the range of what such jobs cost, and the final cost was only slightly higher than the estimate even though some bolts holding the water pump etc had rusted so badly they needed to be drilled out, which added to the time it took for the job to be done. All around, this is my go-to shop. They've earned my trust and renewed it time and again.

The mechanics found some serious problems before I was going on a road trip that the dealership I went to a little while ago missed. The work was performed well and I was charged a fair price. The car runs perfect now.

We’ve been coming here for a very long time, and always very happy with the service. Most importantly, they always talk you through what they need to do and alternatives, including finding cheaper alternatives when needed we’ve also had more than one occasion when we brought a car in to be told nope nothing wrong no charge.
